For those of you who dislike the Turkic-looking level 3 and 4 Byzantine Units from The Purple Phoenix DLC, this is a small mod that replaces them with the generic Eastern level 3/4 units, while leaving the better-looking level 1/2 DLC Byzantine units in place. Obviously, if you don't have the Purple Phoenix DLC, this will change nothing for you.

23 DewFiscal • 1 mo. ago Ya the later Byzantine unit models don't look good, they really don't even look like they belong to the right culture. I know they released some unique Roman/Byzantine unit models if you got Imperator that actually looks cool.

Least favourite; Byzantium and Ottomans past tier 2 (Byzantium units have turbans, not sure if it's a cultural or climate thing but it felt a little out of place, they look like Ottomans) , Italy (ironic since Milan has such beautiful units), the default tier 2 units (guy with the big coat, big hat and big moustache)

TİL unit sprites change depending on culture. Ackshually they are not sprites, but 3D models. Wow, there are actually "army sprites" mentioned in some DLCs. Disgraceful. When i culture converted byzantium into turkish its unit sprites changed to that of ottomans so it appears certain unit packs are tied to culture and not to the country.
